The primary entrance to the villa is on the first floor and accessed via a 30m2 garage terrace. A reception area gives access to a guest bathroom, a staircase to the ground floor and the large, open plan lounge/diner with a wood burner fireplace.
Connected to the lounge is a spacious modern kitchen, and the lounge also opens onto the 20m2 summer terrace offering stunning views of Salobreña and the coast.
On from the lounge, a short corridor provides access to the office and the master bedroom suite with en-suite bathroom and fitted wardrobes that is also adjacent to the 29m2 winter terrace and 6m2 upper pool terrace, each with further amazing views.
The ground floor level of the villa was completely renovated recently to maximize flow and usability and is divided into 2 parts.
The first of these is an extension of the main villa, where can be found 2 more double bedrooms with storage & fitted wardrobes, a guest toilet, a large second living room/home theatre lounge with an annex (currently used as a bar and reading room), and a utility/laundry room that gives access to the guest apartment, which comprises the second part of the ground floor level.
The guest apartment consists of another (mirrored) utility room, 2 double bedrooms (one with a walk-in shower), a family bathroom, guest toilet, a spacious open-plan living/dining room with fireplace and a fully equipped kitchen, plus a cozy sun room.
In accordance with Spanish regulations for vacation rentals, the apartment bedrooms and lounge are fitted with split air conditioning/inverter units providing heating and cooling.
The lovely guest apartment opens onto the 28 m2 sun terrace and garden, where there is a very attractive Andalusian-style pagoda that is partly covered, and can be enjoyed all year long. The salt water pool has 2 sets of roman steps making for easy entry. During their tenure, the current owners have ensured that the apartment is certified for vacation rentals and have developed a good reputation, while enjoying a substantial income.

The Monte de Los Almendros urbanization and Salobreña
The Monte de los Almendros Urbanization is an up-market community of over 370 individually designed villas that was conceived and inaugurated in the 1960s and has grown in reputation and stature over the intervening sixty years. The community occupies an enviable elevated position overlooking the Mediterranean Sea and the Costa Tropical of Southern Spain, around one hour’s drive East from Malaga International Airport, or about a 45 minutes’ drive South from Granada’s Airport.
This villa is a 10min walk to the community area with a large swimming pool, tennis court, football pitch, snack bar (May to October) and offices.
The community is located just outside the town of Salobreña and the local amenities, shops, restaurants, cafes and beaches are, on average, less than a ten-minute drive away.
Salobreña is a welcoming town with a wide range of potential activities in terms of culture, gourmet cuisine, landscapes, sports, weather and folklore to discover and enjoy. It has a privileged geographical location at the heart of the Tropical Coast of Granada, and its historical wealth is made clear as you walk down the streets and corners of its old quarter, where visitors are transported back to Moorish Salobreña.
There is a wealth of local shops, supermarkets (Carrefour, Dia, Lidl, Mercadona and Aldi), as well as a hypermarket (Al Campo) and weekly markets both in Salobreña and nearby towns such as Motril, which is only 15 minutes away from the villa and Nerja, a little further afield.
Cliffs, coves and wide beaches make up the landscape of this beautiful coastline that has been conquered by numerous civilizations. Phoenicians, Romans and Arabs have fought over it and left behind traces of their cultures. The spectacular views from the surrounding area are impressive; from the snowy peaks of the Sierra Nevada during the winter season (usually December to April), down to the Mediterranean and the beautiful, historical town of Salobreña with its mediaeval castle.
Whether it is your wish to spend lazy days by the pool or at the beach, walking in the mountains, cycling or hiking, or leisurely wandering through Salobreña old town or nearby towns, or perhaps enjoying the ski slopes in the winter mornings and, within a short time, being on the beach for lunch! It is worth taking advantage of the Tourist Information Centre, located in the centre of Salobreña for further information on the available guided tours.
