Geographic position
Palazzo del Tempo is a charming period residence in a small medieval village in the Marche region, near the borders of Umbria and Tuscany.
The village is nestled in a lush and pristine valley dominated by Mount Nerone and Mount Montiego, where two rivers meet.
The built-up area with all the main services is dominated by a castle and surrounded by mountains, woodland, waterfalls, and streams. A quiet place from where you can easily reach the Adriatic coast (a 45-minute drive away) and its famous beach resorts, including Fano (56 km), Pesaro (68 km), Senigallia (75 km), Cattolica (85 km), Riccione (95 km), and Rimini (104 km), all within a one-hour distance.Urbino, one of the region’s most beautiful cities of art, also known for its university, is only 26 km away (a half-hour drive).

Description of buildings
The Palazzo is in the heart of the village, and its existence was first documented in 1213.
It develops over four levels. The net saleable area is 831 sq.m, plus the attics on the second floor (another 237 sq.m) and the cellars in the semi-basement (158 sq.m), for a total of 1.226 sq.m. Then, there are two additional rooms with an independent entrance from the village road. The first one (34 sq.m) is used as a storage room, and the other (17 sq.m) is for commercial use.
Palazzo del Tempo has always been owned by the same noble family. As a result, its charm has remained unchanged since its last restoration in the early 1800s, when the then owner wanted to create a beautiful home worthy of his soon-to-be bride (also a noblewoman).
An elegant stone portal featuring the family crest leads inside the residence, suspended in another era, acting like a portal through time.

State and finishing
Anyone who steps inside Palazzo del tempo will be in awe of its atmosphere. It feels like travelling back to the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
The ancient floors are still intact. Each room is a discovery, for example, the airy living room on the first floor, the study where you can still find old papers, the dining room with its stone fireplace, the study with the vaulted ceiling, the “room of wonders” with its authentic cobalt blue wallpaper and decadent atmosphere, and the beautiful chapel with frescoed ceiling and decorated walls.
Palazzo del Tempo has solid walls and a partially restored roof. However, it requires some restoration work, especially with regards to technology, systems, and décors. It also needs a few more bathrooms.

External areas
The property includes a 560 m garden overlooking the river, village, and mountains.

Use and potential uses
Palazzo del Tempo is perfect for a writer, an artist, a poet, or anyone looking for a quiet and comfortable place exuding charm and history in a village immersed in nature, where you don’t even need a car to get around.

All these characteristics make it an ideal residence, boutique hotel, or niche B&B.
Or even a museum house where to house a small community or a culture centre.
