German bank buys rental property portfolio in ireland
A portofolio of rental properties in Ireland have been bought up by Deutsche Bank AG. The German investment bank purchased the real estate in bulk from Danske Bank, reports Bloomberg, as the Danish lender withdraws from the market.
For many investors, though, Ireland is entering a period of recovery, with prices beginning to climb again, particularly in the city of Dublin - a trend that has earmarked it for buyers looking for strong investment potential in coming years.
680 homes were sold to Deutsche Bank, sources told Bloomberg, after the owners (also investors) fell behind with mortgage payments.
