Tour al capone's old home before it finds new tenants
Al Capone's old home is hoping to find new tenants this spring, as the refurbished home goes onto the market.
“We were a very close family,” the legendary gangster's great niece, Deirdre Marie Capone, told the Miami Herald during a press tour.
"We ate our meals together, we sang together, we cooked together."
MB America, a property investment company acting on behalf of a private investor, purchased the 1920s Palm Island mansion last year for $8 million and began renovations on it last November. Now, the 30,000-square-foot property, with seven bedrooms and a swimming pool, hopes to find a new owner this May.
