The cottage is located in South Island, although it looks like it would be more at home in storybook. The guest house was built by hand by Steve Van-Den Yssel-Richards and his wife, Judy, and has now been opened to guests.

The boot-shaped B&B boasts everything from a shower and cute courtyard to a fireplace and bedroom. The cost of sleeping there for the night? £150. The cost of saying you lived in a shoe? Priceless.
