The hotel market in America is enjoying a period of record performance, according to Fitch Ratings.
The agency's figures show that the hotel sector has seen revenue per average room climb for 59 months in a row, as of July 2015. The performance is attributed to high demand as well as low oil prices.
In some sectors, though, the market may be moving beyond its peak, Fitch warns, with some cities (including New York, home to the largest number of rooms under construction) potentially facing oversupply.
