Sweden may reject up to 80,000 asylum seekers
Sweden may reject up to 80,000 migrants' applications for asylum seekers, the country's interior minister has said.
163,000 migrants applied for asylum in Sweden in 2015, the highest per capita rate in Europe, notes the BBC. Out of the 58,800 asyum cases processed, 45 per cent were rejected.
"We are talking about 60,000 people but the number could climb to 80,000," local press quotes the minister as saying.
