A property expert reveals the secret to investment success in Turkey…

Lawrence Sykes, director of overseas property firm Acumen Property, revealed: “The way to make a success of investing in property in Turkey is to do it for the long-term, because essentially, Turkey is lucrative, but it's long-term investment".

”This point has to be emphasised due to a number of people conveying the false impression that Turkey is a place in which investors could get rich quick. Indeed, most properties in all countries need this sort of commitment.

Mr Sykes added: “Buy-to-let is becoming very popular because of the increase in tourism and many were doing well out of it”.
