One, two, ski
Snow conditions and the quality of a resort are two of the most
important factors for Britons looking to go on a skiing holiday, it has been
suggested...
The Ski Club of Great
Britain has stated that due to the needs for good snow conditions, winter
sports tourists will tend to favour top resorts over the smaller destinations.
"Whether you are looking for larger resorts or a more traditional resort,
snow conditions are key," the body's Carrie Hainge explained, noting that
the former are "more popular".
Those who are considering investing in skiing resorts - such as the variety of
locations on offer in France
- may wish to heed Ms Hainge's comments and ensure they purchase property in an
area where snow is likely to be of a consistently good quality.
The body recently noted that areas such as Meribel, Courchevel, Val d'Isere and
Tignes are all popular French destinations, adding that Britons are more likely
to opt for nearby resorts rather than those in the United States.
