Tenerife told to be nicer to tourists

Tenerife is telling its local residents to be nicer to tourists.

"Tenerife Buena Gente" - literally "Tenerife Nice People" - is the Tenefire Tourism Corporation's new tourism campaign, which is encouraging locals to make more of an effort to "impress visitors with their innate kindness", reports The Telegraph.
