Airlines charging £1,000 premium for euro 2016

The fixtures for Euro 2016 were unveiled last weekend, an announcement that sent fans rushing to travel websites to book their trips to cities including Paris, Bordeaux, Nice and Marseille. Airlines, though, were already ready for them, according to research by The Telegraph, which found that airlines are charging up to £1,000 more for flights on dates near matches compared with flights on the same dates in the month before the tourament.
