Mps claim cyprus property prices are rigged

MPs have claimed that Cyprus property prices are rigged, reports Cyprus Property News.

The worth of the island's real estate is currently being re-evaluated, but MPs have now accused lenders and the Land Registry of manipilating prices to serve their own interests; the former allegedly underestimating values and pressure owners into mortgaging more property, the latter allegedly overestimating to collect higher transfer fees.
