Overseas property news - Josh hartnett's home up for sale

Josh hartnett's home up for sale

The Minnesota property was picked up by the Hollywood heartthrob back in 2002. The renovated Queen Anne Victorian home is one of the oldest properties on the Lake of the Isles, boasting everything fromm original woodwook and a gourmet kitchen to stained glass windows and a wine cellar.

The five-bedroom property was built in 1887 and has a four-car garage and an exercise room too, just the thing for a movie hunk looking to keep in shape.

Hartnett is no stranger to the area, after attending Cretin-Derham Hall High School in St. Paul before graduating from Minneapolis South High School. Today, he can be found in Showtime's horror series, Penny Dreadful, which returns for a second season in April on Sky.

While he has appeared in Black Hawk Down and Pearl Harbor since his Minneapolis days, the A-lister is not looking to separate ties from his roots altogether: the listing agency told the Star Tribune that the actor will be spending "less time in the region" and is looking to downsize to another local property.

The property is listed on Sotheby's, along with a slew of impressively glossy images. How much did Hartnett pay for his home? $2.395 million. The asking price 13 years later? $2.395 million.
