Turkey: year round appeal
Property investors are showing an increasing interest in moving into Turkey's real
estate market, it has been claimed...
Hurriyet Daily News reports that the country's sector has been averaging rental
returns of approximately 40 per cent which, when compared with the five per
cent returns being seen across investment, is making the Turkish market
attractive.
Prices of property in the country have also fallen of late, meaning the country
may experience a boom in activity from investors during 2009.
Investors who have been considering purchasing Turkish property may wish to
move into the market in the near future as a result of the prediction, as they
may see prices rise as a result of increasing demand.
Earlier this month Abta -
The Travel Association noted that Turkey is likely to see a rise in
the number of British visitors over the coming months.
The body predicted that the country will be one of two "big growth
areas" in 2009, with Egypt
being cited as the other.
