President Richard Nixon's California "White House" is now on the market. The property, located in San Clemente, boasts a swimming pool, a two-bedroom guest house, a nine-bedroom main house and a plethora of baths, not to mention 480 feet of beachfront.

The property became Nixon's escape from the political world, spending time there with 17 heads of state across his time in office and ultimately retiring there to write his memoirs. That status earned the retreat the nickname the "Western White House", but should not be confused with the real White House, which is worth far more money. The property, though, is certainly a home and yes, it is white.
