Investors considering Morocco have been advised to look at focus on the country's coastline.

According to Fleewinter.com, being close to the sea could help to maximise the appeal of a rental property to visiting leisure travellers.

The website said this would be an "enormous" help to overseas property owners who want to get strong returns on their investment.

Alisdair Luxmoore, a director at Fleewinter.com, added that being in an easily accessible location would also boost a property's potential.

"Access is always a key point for tourists. If the flights don't get there then you don't get any tourists."

Therefore, he has suggested that prospective buyers look at coastal areas in easy reach of international airports, such as Marrakech.
