Jackie collins' home for sale for $30m
The late Jackie Collins' home has been listed on the market for $30 million.
The author, who passed away last year, was a best-selling sensation, with fans purchasing a combined total of more than 500 million copies of her books.
Collins and her late second husband, Oscar Lerman, reportedly acquired the Beverly Hills estate back in 1988 for $2 million. It was bulldozed in the 1990s to be redeveloped as an Art Deco mansion.
The grand result boasts not only eight bedrooms and 10.5 bathrooms, but two three-car garages, a sky-lit foyer filled with columns and marble floors, in addition to a swimming pool, billiards room, library and, on the second floor, a master suite with private balcony and private study.
It was not the only property to belong to the author, though, reports Variety's Real Estalker, who also owned at least three other homes in the 90210 zip code, including a six-bedroom residence next door to this mansion, a home a few blocks away and a ranch in Stone Canyon that was up for lease last year at $18,000 per month.
