Paul Collins of Buy Association explained:  â€œPaphos is still very, very popular for visitors and investors, and boasts both modern resorts and ancient ruins, offering something for everyone.

“The town has an important role in Greek history, having been the site where Aphrodite landed when she rose from the sea. These days, her legacy continues - and many still venture there for romantic breaks and a dip in the sea.

"They're extending the airport there, so it's going to be even more popular. The area around Aphrodite Hills and the golf development up there is, again, very popular."
