A Change allowing some visitors to enter Brazil for up to three months has
been revealed...
Under the new ruling those with a Hong Kong Special Administrative Region
(HKSAR) passport can remain in the South American country for as long as 90
days, it may interest those considering buying property in Brazil to learn.
The agreement comes into action with immediate effect after the HKSAP completed
discussions with the Brazilian Government.
A spokesperson for the Hong Kong group commented it is pleased the arrangement
has been finalised, a move which could allow those wishing to view property in Brazil
a greater length of time to do so.
They added, "We welcome the confirmation by the Brazilian Government and
believe the arrangement will enhance the travel convenience of HKSAR passport
holders and promote trade, business and tourism links between Hong Kong and Brazil."
Recently, the South American nation's Finance Minister Guido Mantega claimed he
expects the country to enjoy economic growth in 2009.
