Chile aims for 4 million tourists

Chile is aiming to receive 4 million tourists by the end of 2015, up from the 3.6 million tourists received in 2014.

"In the past 10 years, we've increased tourist arrivals by almost 100 per cent," Tourism Undersecretary Javiera Montes said at the annual conference of the Chilean Association of Tourism Companies in Copiapo.

Latin America now accounts for 77.4 per cent of all foreign arrivals, he added.
