New cruise terminal for dubai
A
senior Dubai official has said that a new cruise
terminal is being built at Port Rashid in Dubai
to cater to the growing number of cruise tourists...
Hamad Mohammad Bin Majren, Executive Director of Business Development at Dubai's Department of Tourism and Commerce
Marketing (DTCM) has said that the current terminal which is seven years
old is no longer being used for cruise passengers because the area is being
redeveloped for prime urban real estate.
The work will finish soon with it receiving tourists during the next winter
season.
"This new terminal will be temporary. We will use it for two to three
years before a new permanent cruise terminal is built at Dubai Maritime
City in four to five
years," he said.
