Hollywood heartthrob splurges $4m on swanky la pad

Efron allegedly finished his second course of rehab earlier this year and now he has bought a pad worth $3.9 million in the hills of Los Feliz. The house has been described as “zen” and “extremely private” which is perfect for his clean lifestyle after battling his addictions, reports EntertainmentWise.

Zac's new place apparently has five bedrooms and extensive views of the city and ocean, according to TMZ. His neighbours will include Kristen Stewart, Glee’s Naya Rivera, Rose McGowan and plenty of other stars.

The star took to Twitter recently to thank his fans for their support after news of his rehab stint spread, and he wrote: "Hey guys! Just returned from an incredible trip to Peru with my dad and wanted to thank you all for your support these past few weeks...means the world to me. Love you guys!"

Also promoting 'Parkland', co-star Marcia Gay Harden has come out in support of the young thesp's recovery. Calling Zac "a total hero", Harden said:

"Him seeking help encourages other people with addictive issues to seek help. It's brave of him." A source had also told E!: "He's healthy, happy and not drinking, he's taking time to focus on working."
