Bulgaria’s ‘golden valley’

The Bulgarian city of Varna could be in line for another major tourism boost…

A new luxury vacation complex will be constructed on Bulgaria's northern Black Sea Coast between the resort of Albena and the city of Varna. The complex will be called "Golden Valley" ("Zlatna Dolina" in Bulgarian), and is worth EUR 20 M.

The Bulgarian-French company Eurosilex is the investor in the project. Most of the apartments in the new complex have already been sold to buyers from the UK, Ireland, Russia, Poland, France, and the Scandinavian states. The Golden Valley complex contains 81 apartments and 21 luxury villas. The main advantage of the new complex is said to be a park of 6000 square meters with a tropical lake.

A spokesperson for Eurosilex commented: “The resort will include several swimming pools, a playground for kids, a tennis court, a parking lot, and an administrative building with security officers, sauna, supermarket, gym, pharmacy, and a doctor. Golden Valley is also going to have a golf school specially attached to the complex, which is supposed to become the first golf school in Bulgaria.

”The projects entail low buildings with a lot of green spaces in contrast to some of the overdeveloped Bulgarian Black Sea resorts”.
