Chile ‘on a par’ with spain?
Chile is emerging as one of the world’s top emerging markets, claims Forbes.
In the magazine’s list of the world’s top 10 emerging property markets, Chile came in at number 4, beating the likes of the Czech Republic, South Africa and Thailand.
The magazine stated: “Chile's economy has grown just over 5% over the last three years, and the International Monetary Fund expects that expansion to continue this year.
“Based on the Institute for Liberty and Democracy's property rights index of World Bank and World Economic Forum figures, access to lending and property rights are on par with European countries such as Belgium and Spain, a good sign of long-term stability as the nation continues to grow, especially in the country's economic hub of Santiago”.
