Walid Akkawi, CEO of ITP, Publisher of the Arabian Business Magazine said that, 'The specialized committees selected DNRD as one of the Arabian Business Awards winners after thorough examination to ensure its compliance with the awards' provisions for quality and success.

‘On the Governmental level, DNRD has indeed made a difference with its advanced electronic services offered to the public.'

Major General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, Director of DNRD, said, 'We at DNRD are strengthening our efforts further to gain maximum customers satisfaction, therefore we are applying even simpler procedures that will help our customers save time and effort. Our ultimate goal is to contribute to developing the e-Government platforms as per our leadership's directives.

‘At the DNRD, we are currently providing 60 per cent of our services electronically and we hope to completely be online by the end of 2010.'
