Mr Way continued: "Meanwhile, the Overseas Guides Company's partner in Turkey, Spot Blue, has seen a rise in interest from buyers looking to purchase in Istanbul, a rising star in the international investment arena.

"The reciprocity laws were relaxed last year, making it easier for buyers from the Middle East to own there, and the effects now appear to be benefiting the Turkish market."
