Paris btl is ‘pret a porter’
The Paris student BTL market is ‘ready made’ for investors, argues one expert…
Paul Collins, overseas editor of the Buy Association, explained: "The French capital attracts students from all over the world, which provides a constant stream of demand.
"Investors in French property can also benefit from renting the same properties out to tourists over the summer months.
He added: “Paris’ reputation and cultural attractions attract a wide range of visitors, many of whom are interested in exploring the possibility of owning a 'pied-a-terre' in France.
"Paris is obviously a very romantic and exciting place to have that."
According to statistics from The Economist, the French property market grew by 87 per cent between 1997 and 2005.
