Portuguese construction confidence building

The Federation of Building Industry and Public Works (FEPICOP) has said that company confidence in January and February 2014 improved, with the non-residential building orders increasing in the past six months.

FEPICOP notes that because of the low comparison base of the recession and a Change in their infrastructure, the positive signs could be exagerrated, but that the amount of building work open to tenders and contracts signed has risen by 82 per cent and 14.5 per cent respectively year-on-year.
