Qatar property prices hit record high
Qatar property prices have risen to a record high thanks to high demand, according to the Central Bank.
The QCB index soared 29 per cent in June 2014 year-on-year, as foreign workers needed for the development of World Cup infrastructure boost the nation's population by 10.7 per cent in the 12 months to May. That demand, coupled with banks eager to lend and encourage investment, has fuelled rising values.
