Investment in romania tops €800m in 2015
Romania has enjoyed a strong year for property investment, with transactions in Bucharest passing the €800 million barrier in 2015, according to Colliers International.
The real estate consultancy has brokered deals worth €350 million in the country's capital, reports Romania Insider, as the country becomes a more common target for firms in the growing IT and service industries.
Floreasca-Barbu Vacarescu leads the office market, with Colliers forecasting an increase in total stock to 500,000 sqm by 2020, as 155,000 sqm are set to be delivered in the coming years.
Bucharest's office market, meanwhile, continues to offer attractive yields of 7.5 per cent per year, one of the highest of all capital cities in Central and Eastern Europe.
