Mitt romney’s new house has a secret room

The concealed chamber was uncovered by The Salt Lake Tribune this week after the newspaper examined the property’s blueprints, obtained through a government records request.
The three-bedroom house, located in Holladay, spans 5,900 square feet and, once built, will mark the fifth property that will be owned by the former US Presidential candidate. Indeed, Romney also owns a house in San Diego, a condo in Belmont, a vacation cabin in New Hampshire and a mansion in Deer Valley, Park City, which he bought for $8.9 million at the start of this month.
“Romney remains popular in Park City and surrounding Summit County from his days leading the 2002 Winter Olympics, when upward of half of the events were held in the Park City area,” noted Park Record following his purchase.
But even with all of that real estate to the Romney name, Mitt’s property dream was missing one key thing: a hidden room. His Holladay home, though, will soon fill that hole: inside the front door is a living room that leads to a study with several bookshelves. Examine the second one from the far wall and you will find a concealed door that will swivel out to reveal a secret room.
Well, it used to be a secret.
