Qatar airways ranked world's most reliable airline

Qatar Airways has been ranked as the most reliable in the world, according to a new study by Wanderbat.

The research compared airlines around the globe using three different factors: how frequently flights were on time, the number of bags allowed to be checked for free (and the cost of subsequent bags) and the average age of a fleet.

For airlines with the same "smart rating", they were ordered them from the lowest to highest percentage of on-time flights.

Qatar Airways came out on time with a smart rating of 100, followed Emirates in second place (97) and China Eastern in third (97). Aeroflot and China Airlines complete the top five.
