Romania’s second largest city is set for a huge cash influx…
Israeli developers AlfaRom Holding srl and RO Future Group plc are to invest more than €120 million in a 1,100-unit apartment project in Iasi. The project, called "Green Park", will comprise 14 apartment blocks with apartments ranging in size from 43 square meters to 160 square meters, and will sell at a starting price of €1,000 per square meter. 430 apartments have already been sold.
The first 70 apartments will be handed over in October 2008 and 84 more will be delivered in January 2009. The project is slated to be completed by the end of 2009.
The second largest Romanian city, after Bucharest, Iaşi is the economic, cultural and academic Centre of the Romanian region of Moldavia. The city has the oldest Romanian university and accommodates an annual count of over 60,000 students in 5 public and 3 private universities, which creates a constant demand for good quality student accommodation.
