Thousands of immigrants made us citizens for presidents' day

Almost 18,000 immigrants were officially made citizens of the US as part of celebrations for Presidents' Day.

"It is special for our newest citizens to take their Oaths of Allegiance as we celebrate Presidents’ Day," said Lori Scialabba, Acting Director of US Citizenship and Immigration Services.
