Turkey flights 'need improvement'
Timur Bayindir of the Turkish Hoteliers' Association (TUROB) recently commented: “More flights are needed to boost the tourist and property investment sectors. The holiday industry is performing well despite these issues and achieved extraordinarily good results last year.
This has prompted Mr Bayinder, chairman of TUROB, to predict that further growth will be seen during 2008.
He commented: "We look back on a very strong performance in 2007 and expect an even more successful coming year". The remarks come after British Midland Airways (bmi) revealed that it has more competition in
Gail Holden, commercial development manager at bmi, told the Turkish Daily News that the level of the competition was the biggest challenge it was currently facing.
