Mendoza and tuscany see largest rise in vineyard values
Mendoza and Tuscany are leading the global rise in vineyard values, according to Knight Frank.
The agent's new Global Vineyard Index shows that lifestyle vineyard (those larger than five hectares) values are becoming an increasingly popular alternative investment for buyers. Indeed, that demand has helped to push up prices by 6.8 per cent in the 12 months to June 2013 - and Argentina's Mendoza and Italy's Tuscany regions are leading the way, with annual rises of 25 per cent and 20 per cent respectively.
