Navy demand boosts bahrain rents

Demand from US Navy personnel is boosting rental rates in Bahrain, according to Cluttons. Staff rotation in the US Navy is helping to lift rents in the long-term, says the firm, although not by landmark amounts in the short-term.

Rents have not risen in the last quarter, but in the first quarter of 2014 grew 1.9 per cent year-on-year,w hile they jumped 2.4 per cent in 2013.
