Perth mint teams up with my gold for investment products

Perth Mint and MyGold have teamed up to launch a series of new investment products in New Zealand.

The partnership allows the latter to offer potential clients the opportunity to buy Perth Mint precious metal products for collecting and investing. One of the first products is the 2016 Silver Kangaroo Bullion Coin, a unique precious metal collector's piece with an Australia-inspired design that is "sure to give similar precious metal coin products, such as the Silver Canadian Maple and the Silver American Eagle bullion coin, a run for their literal money".

The obverse features a majestic kangaroo in mid-leap, surrounded by a starburst; the reverse bears a profile portrait of Queen Elizabeth II in stunning regal detail. Each 1-ounce coin is made from .9999 pure silver, designed to retain investment and resale value over time, as well as intrinsic collector's value in the design itself.
