Athens best buy-to-let hotspot

Athens has been ranked as the best buy-to-let hotspot out of Europe's most popular tourist cities. Analysis by HomeToGo shows that the Greek capital offers the best ratio of rental income to house price, for investors planning to buy a home and rent it out to tourists. The city is followed by Warsaw and Istanbul.

London, on the other hand, is the priciest European city in terms of price per square metre for both real estate and holiday rents.

The popular tourist hotspot of Amsterdam proves to be a profitable place to rent out your home. The city has the third highest holiday rental prices in HomeToGo's list but only the 10th highest in terms of real estate prices.
