Jonah Hill is jumping from the street he's lived on for five years.
The actor, who has been nominated for an Oscar twice in the past four years, found a property worthy of equally starry acclaim back in 2010. The three-bedroom pad, located in the hills below Mulholland Drive, spans 3,660 square feet and has an open plan with glass walls and skylights lighting up the space.
In addition to the gourmet kitchen and 3.5 baths, the house boasts a state of the art cinema, a guest suite with bathroom and separate sitting room, a backyard pool and spa, cabana with entertainment Centre and fridge, a custom sports court and even a detached guest home with its own bathroom.
A hiking trial through Laurel Canyon is nearby to boot.
But the home has glamorous history too: the home, designed by Richard Dorman, was built for actress Beverly Garland back in 1959. Remarkably, this is only the second time the property has changed hands since, reports the LA Times. http://www.latimes.com/business/realestate/hot-property/la-fi-hotprop-jonah-hill-20151015-story.html
Following Hill's "thoughtful update" in 2012 by Padraic Cassidy AIA, the property's value has naturally increased. The home was originally bought by Hill for $1.865 million. The cost to jump into his sreet now? $2.995 million.
