Andy murray's former coach lists home for sale
The tennis legend, famous for his powerful serves, helped Andy Murray to ace his way through Wimbledon 2013, picking up two Grand Slam titles. This year, though, the pair split officially citing Ivan's other time-sapping commitments.
He certainly has more time on his hands now to tackle real estate: his estate in Southern Connecticut has volleyed and rallied back and forth over the housing market net in recent years, but failed to find a buyer.
The mansion spans 20,000 square feet and boasts 10 bedrooms and 15 bathrooms, not to mention 450 acres of land, two swimming pool,s a barn for horses and even a guest house. Of course, the estate is topped off by the most essential part of Lendl's life: a tennis court.
As Andy Murray struggles with his life post-breakup, crashing out of Wimbledon 2014 this afternoon amid what appeared to be a lack of focus, Lendl will be hoping to smash a success story out of his own long-standing obstacles. The property's asking price? $19.75 million. Or, to put it another way, just over 11 Wimbledon's Gentlemen's Singles titles.
