Canadian farmland values enjoy major climb
The value of Canadian farmland has climbed by a major margin in the past year, according to new statistics. The price of agricultural land jumped 22.1 per cent in 2013 year-on-year, the biggest annual rise in almost 30 years, according to the Farm Credit Corporation.
Saskatchewan and Manitoba led the trend with rises of 28.6 per cent and 25.6 per cent respectively.
