Paris attack has not deterred buyers

Last year's Paris terror attack has not deterred property buyers, according to organisers of a property exhibition.

Organisers of The France Show, which runs from Friday 29th January to Sunday 31st January, tell OPP.Today that if anything, demand for property has risen in a show of support from Britons.

The event, which will take place at the London Olympia, will feature 160 exhibitors, with the show having to increase its size to meet demand.

"We’ve not witnessed any negative impact on exhibitor demand or ticket sales following the awful events in Paris; in fact, there’s been greater demand for exhibitor space in the French Property Exhibition," says Debbie Macleod, Portfolio Director of show organiser and publisher, Archant.

The comments follow similar claims from a Turkish estate agent that Istanbul remains an attractive real estate destination in 2016.
