Irish house prices rise

Irish house prices have risen outside of Dublin for four of the last six months, according to new data from the Central Statistics Office. The figures show that the market outside of the capital was beginning to stabilise in December, although Dublin's market continued to boom. Property prices in Dublin soared 16 per cent in December 2013 year-on-year, the highest annual growth in the country since 2007.
