Overseas property news - For sale: elvis presley's other home

For sale: elvis presley's other home

The house in question was built in 1946 and snapped up by the Presley family in 1970. The four-bedroom property was dubbed Graceland West by its former owner Reno Fontana in 2003, when he picked up the pad for $1.25 million. The 5,000 square-foot home, though, is a far cry from the iconic estate, although the listing includes photos featuring cardboard cutouts of the King of Rock'n'roll.

The home was, Curbed reports, opened up for Michael Jackson fans to hold a memorial service for Presley's royal associate, the King of Pop.

Despite such events, claims that the home can produce an income of up to $5,000 per night seem a little fat-fetched, with the bank foreclosing on Fontana, only for its new owner to fall victim to repossession too.

Perhaps this is one estate that it is not worth getting all shook up about after all.
