Jack black rocks up in chelsea

Hollywood star Jack Black has rented an immaculate six-bedroom, four reception-room house in Chelsea for a reported £10,000 a week. The loveable Californian rocket scientist's son is here to star in Jonathan Swift's satirical film, Gulliver's Travels, opposite Emily Blunt, in which he plays the eponymous Lilliput traveller.

He has two young children Sammy and Thomas from his marriage to Californian cellist Tanya Haden.

Black, best known for rumbustious roles in films like Kung Fu Panda and High Fidelity, is a founder member of Hollywood's Frat Pack of A-list Male comedy stars, who include Will Ferrell, Ben Stiller and Vince Vaughan. Chelsea neighbours may enjoy his famed scat-style singing.
