Developers eyeing up cape verde

The Government of Cape Verde is reportedly trying to get more UK contractors involved in a large scale infrastructure programme designed to improve its emerging tourist sector. The total cost of the work could cost in excess of £2.5 billion.

A delegation from Cape Verde is expected to visit the UK in June to drum up UK interest in its build programme, which is understood to include plans to construct a 375 mile bridge linking the islands to the mainland.
