Java volcano closes indonesian aiports

Five airports in Indonesia have closed, following the eruption of a volcano on Java.

Mount Raung has been spewing ash into the air for almost week. Volcano ash can cause serious problems for aircraft visibility and, as a result, passenger safety. In response, Bali's international airport has shut, alongside airports in Lombo, Lombok, Banyuwangi and Jember. International airlines are also cancelling flights, leaving thousands of tourists stranded with their holiday plans in chaos.
