Bitcoins accepted by precious metals firm

Bitcoins are now being accepted as payment by a precious metals trading firm.

One of Euro Pacific Precious Metals' major investors, Peter Schiff, has been a long-outspoken critic of the virtual currency, but now the New York-based firm has agreed to accept the digital coinage, "to provide transactions that are easier and cheaper", reports Bitcoin Magazine.
