Us house prices soar 12pc in september

US house prices soared 12 per cent in September 2013 compared to September 2012, according to figures from CoreLogic.

The data shows that house values climbed 0.2 per cent on a month-by-month basis, marking the 19th month in a row of year-on-year increases.

The company’s pending house price index predicts that house prices will continue to rise in October 2013, with a forecast year-on-year growth of 12.5 per cent.
